Elder Care in Gaithersburg, Maryland

I'd love to bring my Music and Memory program to you. When I visit seniors in their homes or community centers, we sing familiar American folk songs and play rhythm instruments along with my ukulele. Seniors strengthen their speaking ability, memory recall, hands, arms and upper body during our one-hour program. Over the past 5 years I've been working one-to-one and in groups with seniors, many of whom are challenged with dementia, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's. Everyone's spirits are lifted and even the most quiet individuals spring up with smiles and bright, attentive eyes. I provide large print lyrics and small rhythm instruments.
