Elder Care Job in Ashland, Virginia

Hello my name is Clarissa, I am 28 years old with almost a year under my belt obtaining the title of a Personal Care Aide (PCA). I am currently employed with an agency in Stafford, VA called One on One Care Inc. I've worked with the company since November of 2016. I have a strong passion for being a caregiver and look forward to advancing in my future toward taking the necessary steps to becoming a registered nurse. In the process of currently working for the company I am currently employed with I'm looking to find employment closer to home rather than driving the distance I drive with because with my pay rate it is not necessarily worth the drive. I love my job and again I have a very strong passion for what I do just trying to make wise choices in the process of trying to advance in my career long term. I am available (7) days a week between 7:00 a.m to 3 p.m (Monday-Saturday) and 7:00a.m to 5 p.m (Sundays), as well available to some evenings if notified a week in advance. I am very open to meeting new people and treat others as I would expect to be treated with the utmost respect . Being in this field has given me so much of a warm heart in the caring and nurturing of others. I have become in very close contact with those I've cared for and maintained a professional position with those being cared for and their families as well extended loved ones also. I consider it a blessing if can uplift the spirits in one or many others I come in contact by doing something so simple and in return their appreciation because there is no price on just being whole heartedly humble and caring for someone in need the impact you make on somebody else's life makes a difference.
