Elder Care Job in Fort Collins, Colorado

I'm Annalouiza and I'm looking for an experienced, compassionate elder care provider to join help out for a few weeks while my dad gets back on his feet. He is having a hernia operation and can't lift or move around too much for a few weeks. The first few days would be the most important -- checking in to see that he is comfortable and can reach what he needs. This is a short term gig--he is not wanting too much but I could use the extra set of eyes and ears to be sure he's doing ok. Start date: August 9, 2023 5pm-7pm -Check to be sure he has water, meds -Heat up premade dinner -Ask him how he's feeling, visual check to see that he's comfortable Follow up Aug. 10,2023 ...AM-9AM -Check to be sure he has water, meds -Heat up premade breakfast -Ask him how he's feeling, visual check to see that he's comfortable -Set up for a day, make sure he has water bottles filled and close at hand Nursing student welcome, hours could be modified to fit your work/ class schedule. Hernia surgery takes 2 -6 weeks for healing. He may not need too much assistance after first week. This will be as needed situation.
