Senior Helpers of San Diego County is the premier provider of in-home senior care. We offer tailored home care services ranging from companion care for seniors who need daily assistance to in-depth specialized care for those with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Parkinson’s and other chronic diseases. We are currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of caregiver. Our company is experiencing rapid growth and have a number of assignments that are available for immediate fulfillment. Primary Responsibilities • Companionship & conversation • Light housekeeping • Walking assistance • Eating assistance • Errands • Transportation • Meal planning and prep • Laundry and linen changing • Assistance with bathing, dressing and toileting • Medication reminders • Etc. Other Requirements • Pass recurring 90-day skills assessment and client review • Document activities in the care plan • Record daily hours worked and daily services performed • Follow all policies and procedures • Report any TB or hepatitis exposure immediately Qualifications • Register with California and pass a background check • Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect • Ability to read, write and speak English
