Hello my name is Rachel and I live in Cobb County. I am a genuine and positive young woman who has a passion in bringing greater life satisfaction to the elderly. I have an associates degree as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, and am looking to utilize my experience and skills in a personal and different way. I have experience working in a skilled nursing facility with patients of varying complications, such as victims of strokes or neurological conditions such as Parkinson's. Occupational Therapy is focused on facilitating function and satisfaction with daily life activities specific to an individual's life. With my skills and training as an OT in both personal care (including ADLs such as bathing and dressing or IADLs such as community mobility) as well as my desire to enhance and facilitate the quality of life and function of seniors in the community, I believe I am an ideal caretaker for your loved one.
