Elder Care in Montreal, Quebec

I'm an
Individual
Hi, I'm Carol I worked for four years in a private home as a companion to a 90-year old senior suffering from dementia. While working there, I gathered experience with meal preparation, laundry, administering daily medication, accompanying her to appointments and hospital visits, and providing her with entertainment during the day. I would make sure the senior's kitchen and living area were in a clean and pleasant state. I enjoyed every day putting a smile on her face and introducing some highlights to her routine. I worked for two years in a senior residence in Nun's Island, where I provided assistance and companionship to an elderly lady with Lupus. And in a second job at this location improved the quality of life of a homesick man with Alzheimer's disease. Until both clients sadly relocated as the residence no longer suited their needs. In both cases, I assisted with grooming, physical hygiene, and meds. I am currently looking for employment, able to start work immediately.

Carol Vautz worked for me for 4 years as a companion/sitter and at the end as the needs changed as a caregiver for my Mother who had dementia She was wonderful. She was very thoughtful reliable and truly cared about my mother's happiness and well being. She would even bring movies, books and trinkets that she knew would cheer her up. I would definitely recommend her! If you have any questions feel free to contact me at any time. Gerda Schieder
