Sara has an undeniable desire to learn. She wants to discover as much as possible about the subject she is studying. She is fully invested in the intricacies of the process, not afraid to ask questions. I would not consider Sara a perfectionist due to the fact that she has an easy-going perspective of life, however, she makes every effort to learn and display her talents to the best of her abilities. The willingness to give of herself is another amazing attribute Sara possesses. Sara goes above and beyond daily. She is happy to help from the smallest task of carrying boxes or sharing class notes to big tasks as painting a canvas or fundraising money. Her resourcefulness, responsibility, and cheerfulness is attractive. People want to be around her. Sara’s integrity and empathy fosters trusting relationships. The work ethic and competency skills Sara owns any team would crave. Couple that with her hunger to learn and eagerness to help others Sara would thrive in any setting. Her contributions will not go unnoticed. I would not be surprised if she took a leadership role. People follow her lead. She has a good head on her shoulders; knows right from wrong. Sara is simply an accomplished, independent young woman.

7/23/2020 To whom it may concern, Sara Rahmanzai has worked in a skilled rehabilitation center for the last year or so. As one of her direct supervisors I would have to say that Sara puts great effort and consideration in the care that she provides to the patients. As a nursing assistant she is very consistent in providing care for our elders that is based on high values and practices. Those core values include providing our elders choice, dignity, respect, self-determination, and purposeful living. Sara provides personal directed care that is spelled out in the patient care plan and is brought to life through her assistance in daily living activities. She works on our skilled rehabilitation area and she can quickly adjust the level of care needed for each patient as they improve daily. She is an advocate for them to improve physically and emotionally by consistently providing the care they require. Many of who we serve have been placed in our care following a traumatic injury and are not prepared for the day to day needs they currently have. They are defeated with the thought of not being able to go home. Sara does take the time to understand their needs and helps them to see that what they are doing every day does make a difference in their health. I have received comments from discharging patients that stated how much Sara made them feel valued and supported. One patient stated to me that she provided reassurance that helped lift her spirit and she was able to focus on her rehabilitation and the small successes she was making towards going home. Sara is such a positive team member. She can critically think through a situation and problem solve a solution that is safe and efficient while keeping patient satisfaction in mind. Her forethought into what needs to happen next allows our patients to feel confident in the care she provides. She is always seeking out opportunities to learn something new or taking on a new task and worked to getting her medication Aide. We are blessed to have such positive respectful employee who radiates warmth and compassion for those we serve. With regards, Kathie O’Dell BSN, RN-BC Assistant Director of Nursing/Infection Prevention
