Nice to meet you! My name is Teresa. I love working with seniors and look forward to caring for your loved ones. I'm 50 years old and I love working with seniors. I worked for Nurses Unlimited in the Kingwood area around 2012-201.... My shift would start at 8.00 am- 3.00 or 4.00. I 'm available for whatever shift you are in need of. My responsibilities included preparing meals for breakfast lunch and sometimes dinner. Light housekeeping, making sure meds were taken at the correct time, blood pressure and sugar levels were checked several times daily. My client asked me to call her Granny it was my pleasure to do so. Granny was a diabetic so it was very important to stay on top of her eating habits the best part of this job was our morning and afternoon coffee and conversation, although nurses unlimited is the only company that I have been employed with concerning senior/elderly care. I was raised by my grandparents and cared for the both of them when they fell ill along with my mother and father all of whom have passed away. I understand it can be very difficult at times, especially for the families. I believe with this job you must be dependable and have patience, compassion, and understanding.
