Overview: Hi there my name is Diane. I'm interviewing for a home caregiver placement in Brandon, Manitoba. I hope to contribute my experience as a home caregiver. My availability is flexible..... I am retired. I have a car and could take someone to appointments, shopping, or just a drive and ice cream cone. As a Registered Nurse, I have worked with the elderly in Nursing Homes, in their own home or in Long Term Care facilities. Since I am retired i would be working as a regular care giver and do not have an active license. I will need to work within the perimeters of a Nurses aide.I would prefer short visits as compared to an entire day as i am trying to writing a book and need time for that.. Description of Skills: I would be able to provide basic nursing care such as a bed bath, read from a book, music, but i can't carry a tune.Further, I have a drivers license.and at the moment, i have a car I have have been a Registered Nurse for 49 years and a great deal of that time was with seniors in various cities and in the USA and usually in a professional setting.
