Employer: Mario D Employers’ address: Unionville, ON, L3R 0G1 Work Location: same as above Type of Employment:Full time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description:  Provide personal care  Mend clothing and linens  Launder clothing and household linens  Assist client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene  Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties  Plan therapeutic diets and menus(low sodium and low sugar menus)  Provide companionship  Administer bedside and personal care  Shop for food and household supplies  Change non-sterile dressings  Feed or assist in feeding  Collect specimens  Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder)  Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk  Administer medications  Prepare and serve nutritious meals  Attend doctor appointments  Provide updates to immediate family members Requirements: -Education: Some secondary school is required -Experience: 1 year of experience as a care attendant is required. -First Aid Certificate is an asset -Criminal record check may be required Salary: $16.10-~$... hourly, 40 Hours per week Important Information: - The personal care attendant will be responsible for the care of an 87-year old man with diabetes and some memory loss. - Flexibility on schedule is required. Shifts:8:30am to 5:30pm from Monday to Friday (60 minutes of unpaid meal break) - Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
