We have grown up hearing the "Old folks home". Times have changed, now it sounds more like "Old folks AT Home". The best option if at all possible is to to keep your aging family member either in their home or your home. I would love to help you to achieve this option. I am a 60 y/o white female who is responsible, honest, caring, compassionate, disabled LPN looking for part time work. I have 30 years experience working as an LPN in various settings, mainly with the aging population. I am unable to do much lifting. But, I am able to assist your aging loved one with bathing, meal preparation, medications, light housekeeping, light yard work, transportation, shopping, and other possible duties may be available. For the past 6 years I have not worked as an LPN but as a independent primary caregiver. I have had the honor and pleasure to work directly with several aging adults and their families in their home settings under different circumstances. I would love to help you keep your aging adult in their same setting. I am willing and more than glad to provide work and personal references if required.
