I hope you are having a good day! I have been volunteering in the schools for the past 20 years and have loved every minute working with the kids, families, principals and teachers. My youngest graduated high school and so I am turning my focus and energy to work with senior citizens and their families. I am a CNA and I am CPR/AED certified. I can work M-F 6:00 am - 10:00 pm. I have raised two children, a hands on auntie, and have worked in the customer service industry for over 30 years so I am confident that I can meet your needs for a daily companion. My parents are elderly and my grandfather had Alzheimer's. I have a sunny disposition, I smile all the time with lots of patience and empathy. I have an 'old soul' so I get along well with our senior population. I enjoy music, reading, playing cards, checkers, exercise, walks, movies, theater productions, etc.. I am able to prepare meals, light housekeeping, laundry, transportation with my own reliable vehicle and insurance. I prefer companionship but can also assist with medicine reminders, simple grooming and dressing, simple transfers to wheel chair or walker but I am not able to lift.
