Hi there, My name is Dakota Szymanski. I'm a 22 year old female student who is finishing up her first year of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Nipissing University. I have clinical experience working in both an assisted living longterm care facility, as well as in the dementia unit at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. I have experience providing basic nursing care (bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, etc), feeding, assistance with mobility (transfers, lifts, wheelchairs etc), catheters, subcutaneous injections, and blood glucose testing. I am also experienced with housekeeping duties (both from working in a hotel and living on my own for multiple years), and I really enjoy cooking.
