Elder Care Job in Boone, North Carolina

Hello my name is Robert. My 70 yo mother is beginning her recovery from a stroke. Her family is looking for daytime companion assistance for her in her home. She currently needs assistance with bathing (she has a proper roll-in shower, with chair) and any necessary personal care, dressing, and most importantly safe transfers from room to room, as needed. She is recovering her ability to walk with a walker, but remains unsteady and a fall risk. She struggles with word-finding sometimes, but completely understands what is spoken and reads well. Daytime care will have lots of TV time. Some meal prep and light housekeeping will be part of the job. I look forward to hearing from you. This position will be ideal for a person who is quite comfortable being in the background until needed, Salary is negotiable based upon your skills and experience.
