My name is Carol. I have been in this line of work for nine years. I really enjoy this I type of work. I like to work with pretty much any age. I am not afraid to work around any disease that a client may have to contact. I enjoy to listen to the client's past and present. What ever they feel comfortable talking about. I am a very good listener and I learn fast. I am always willing to learn new things and willing to do any in services or work shops that will educate me or help my work with a client. I have worked in a nursing home ,retirement home and currently working doing home care. I have been at the same company for nine years. I have worked with brain injury clients, dementia and alzheimer's clients. I have worked with adults with down syndrome. I have bathed, feed, taken clients out to appointments when needed. I have done respite care. I have done over night care. I have made meals and shopped for clients. I have experience with lifts for clients who are in wheelchairs or bed ridden and need help getting to the toilet or to have a bath.
