Hello Families, My name is Glenda Seymour and I am a register PSW. My clients would consider me to be a loving and compassionate person and I enjoy my career, working with seniors. I have being working with seniors for approximately 4 years; I have a bevy of experience that includes personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping and running daily errands. I have a diligent work ethic; I am reliable, honest and trust-worthy. Moreover, I am a very funny, jovial, and light-hearted person and I love what I do. In my personal time, I love cooking, shopping, music, and sharing with people from different walks of life. Working as a PSW, I completed my placement at Kennedy Lodge Nursing home and my community service at A-Donnas Long Term Residence. During my time at both placements, I learn how to use various types of mechanical lifts, how to care for clients with different needs, and how to work in various environments. My primary duties included bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding and transferring my clients to various activities. I also have experience working in private homes with senior individuals. My duties ranged from light-housekeeping and companionship to strictly personal care.
