Elder Care in Scarborough, Ontario

Hello to employee seekers. I am Cheeryl Ann Tabas 37, Filipino and currently in the Philippines now. I am looking for a good family who will trust me to take care of their elder loved-ones. I have a Nationally Recognized caregiving training for 6 months with CPR and BLS as primary competencies. I consider my personall experience with my grandmother with slight dementia as her caregiver for 5 years as my significant training in giving care. I was raised by my grandparents that is why I feel happy being around them. We Filipinos are known to have closed family ties and it makes me proud of this culture because I personally attend to my extended families welfare without fees at all, it is like giving back the favor of nurturing us when we were children.I am also a mother to a 14- year old girl and an acting mom to my 6-year old nephew. I am also a licensed teacher here in the Philippines and I have 14 yrs. Of experience in teaching. I know how important is the care when given to an elder person, it will not only for the purpose of attending to their needs but also for the purpose of listening to them and letting them feel how special they are.
