Elder Care Job in Etobicoke, Ontario

Mom and Dad are advancing in age. Mom suffers from Spinal Stenosis and Dad has some respiratory issues. Both are basically fine mentally but Mom needs help getting out of bed. Qualifications we are looking for are experience in Long-Term Care, Certificate in Dementia Care, Training in Gentle Persuasive Approach and U-First Psychogeriatric experience, Intervention and working with responsive behaviours including various types of dementia, delirium, mental health issues. We need a trustworthy, compassionate individual who can take care of grooming, bathing, meals etc. Caregivers applying for this position must be local/Toronto based. We are not willing to sponsor at this time.
