Elder Care Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for a live-in caregiver that can start training with the current caregiver November 15th 2012. My wife is 44 years old, and recovering from a brain injury. She needs someone who is compassionate, caring, and attentive to help her with personal care, meals, supplements and medications, and perform some light house duties. The caregiver will be in a quiet environment, must be a quiet sleeper, and attentive to my wife as she tries to rest much of the day to recover from her injury. My wife is currently working through a home based rehab program, which you can help assist with, and encourage her to do during the day. Location is Etobicoke (5-10 minute ride from the Royal York subway) You must have past experience and a high level of compassion and understanding in order to help speed the recovery process. The home environment is chemical, fragrance, and smoke free due to allergies and sensitivities. Thank you for your time, we look forward to hearing from you. You will have an opportunity to rest during the day as well, as she will require periods of sleep throughout the day as she begins to get better, and gain mobility.
