Elder Care Job in Markham, Ontario

Hello! Our family in Markham, Ontario is in search of a compassionate and dedicated elder care provider. We are offering a full-time or part-time live-out position to provide home care and personal care for our beloved family member. The hourly pay is $20.00, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about providing the best quality of life for our loved one. This job involves: - Daytime, overnight and/or weekend shifts, up to 12 hours duration per shift - Our family member is a senior male, visually impaired, generally ambulatory but lacks confidence/needs help to go to the washroom - Located at Chartwell Rouge Valley Retirement Home, free parking available - Pay $20 per hour, paid every 2 weeks via direct deposit (T4 issued with statutory deductions, vacation pay, etc.) The ideal candidate will have previous experience in elder care and will be able to provide compassionate and respectful assistance with daily living activities. Duties will include assistance with personal grooming, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship.
