What We're Looking For: Part time companion/caregiver not a live in position Flexible hours if you are dependable Need help asap, must have references Good with dogs, drives, no smoking and willing to love plants too (mom a big green thumb) Hey my name is Jennifer. I'm hiring an in home caregiver for my mother who is living in Highland, New York. I'm planning to find a well Trained, skillful candidate who has flexibility, humor and compassion. Good organizational skills a plus Duties: Companion care. Help with all the things mom is limited with due to being in wheelchair. Meal prep, house cleaning, laundry, dog walking, bed changing, peri care, showers, shopping, medical appointments etc. mom in wheelchair with ability to stand and pivot with 1 person assist. Often transfers on her own. Availability: ideally need help for 4hours in daytime and then 2 hours at bedtime. Getting in bed and settled is particularly difficult for her.
