Elder Care Job in Cathedral City, California

CNA or other health aide certification is optional. We will train you. Duties will be helping a quadriplegic man with evening toileting and showering routine including: Undressing Urinary catheter care Toileting and showering with rolling shower/commode chair Medication set up Transfers to and from wheelchair Also assistance with: Light housekeeping (dishes, sweeping, and laundry) Each shift is approximately 3 hours, 9 PM-12 AM (midnight). Shifts are every other night so you would work one night and then have the next night off. For example: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, repeat. The job does require full-assist manual transfers. Need to be reasonably strong, physically confident and in good health with no back or joint issues. Must be fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID. For my wife’s comfort and privacy we only hire female caregivers. Need to own reliable transportation.
