Elder Care Job in Montreal, Quebec

Gabriella's family is seeking a compassionate and dedicated part-time elder care provider for her 70-year-old father, Gennaro. While he is physically capable of managing most daily activities, he suffers from dementia induced by CTE and experiences PCA, which affects his vision and spatial awareness. As a result, he may struggle to see objects and recognize when to step up or down while walking outside. Currently Gennaro is at St Mary’s Hospital while on a waiting list for CHSLD in Montreal (or south shore.) Responsibilities: - Provide companionship and emotional support, as he often feels lost and alone. - Assist with reminders for daily tasks and guidance during activities. - Encourage engagement through music and dance—he loves to dance, especially to Michael Jackson songs! Details: - Location: st Mary’s Hospital in Montreal, Quebec - Hours: Saturdays and Sundays from 8 AM to 2 PM - Wage: $25.00 per hour He is often in a great mood and enjoys making jokes, even if his sense of humor has changed.
