Elder Care Job in Kapaa, Hawaii

Hello, my name is Kanoa. I am looking for an in-home caregiver for my mother, as part of a work trade situation. In exchange for minimal companionship caregiving we will give you free room and board, plus food. This position would best suit someone who has some savings, works from home, or gets some form of government assistance. My mother is completely self sufficient and does not require much assistance. The biggest concern is that she occasionally falls, and needs assistance up and down stairs, and likes to hold your arm when walking. She may need to be driven to the store, or to ukulele lessons, or some type of errand, especially at night. She needs someone very patient and kind who doesn’t mind repeating themselves. She needs help with her computer. She is very old fashioned and often times makes things a little harder for herself. It would be nice to have someone handy who knows about computers and loves to garden!
