Hello my name is Diane. I'm seeking a companion position. I love spending time with people talking to them and better all different things that might interest them. I'm also am able to drive them to appointments such as Dr dentist errands shopping or whatever else is needed. I am able to assist with meal preparations, medication Administrations. I enjoy doing puzzles watching TV doing arts and crafts that they may be interested in, going to places such as the Botanical Gardens, the zoo, art museums or any place else that might get them out of the house and just visiting with other people in general. I also will stay overnight with my companion if they have problems with waking up during the night and being confused especially if they go into the hospital that is a very rough time for them and I will stay with them in the hospital. Description of Skills: I work as a registered nurse for almost 20 years I have training in CPR and while I was a nurse I injured my back and I cannot do any lifting. Except assist in and out of a wheelchair and into a car. I love getting patience to talk about the past because that's easiest for them to remember especially with dementia patients and that is the most comforting time for them.
