About Me: Hello, my name is Dawn Wasylow-Smith and I am looking for a elder care provider position in and around Pasadena, Texas. I started my nursing career when I was 14 years old. My mother was a Registered Nurse working in private care when she hired me on to sit with her patients so she could run errands. When I 21 years old I attended Nurses Aid school and started working in Nursing Home, I soon discovered my patients needed more one on one care than I could provide at a nursing home. So I started working in private care and I have over 30 yrs experience caring for the elderly. I strive at being a careful and private individual. Available now. Services And Training: I started my education as a Nurses Aid, then went to college to train as a Medical Assistant and then went back and got my degree in Public Health Science. I have in depth training and experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia care patients. I also have experience with clients who require other Training and Knowledge in areas of: Personal care, Companion, Bathing, Dressing & wounds, Injections, Administer medication, Housekeeping, Laundry, Meal preparation and Grocery shopping I have been caring for the elderly in all sectors of health for 30 plus years and have always enjoyed the rewards of caring for others.
