Caring, compassionate, and qualified independent worker, available for 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts from 8pm to 6am 7 days a week. Have experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia, as well as working in Assisted Living facilities and private care homes. Over 6 years experience in the Senior Health Care Field. Worked in Assisted Living Facility as care giver, activities manager, and supervisor specializing in residents with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Worked in private care field for past 1 1/2 years providing one-on-one personal and companionship care to seniors. Have first aide training, medication training, and Dementia training. Experience with total care residents, residents with Hospice services, and end of life services. Offer complete hands on care as needed, with promoting independence for the resident. Provide ADL's (activities of Daily Living) i.e. showering, toileting, transferring, mobility, eating, oral care, etc. Offer companion care if needed i.e. cooking, baking, games (cards, board games, trivia), reading, life skills, etc. Will provide basic housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing kitchen and bathrooms daily or as needed.
