Elder Care in Winnipeg, Manitoba

Hi, My name is Tracy. I am a single mom new to Winnipeg. I am looking for full time employment, preferably mon-fri 8 am - 5 pm. I have previous experience with the elderly, disabled and special needs persons as well as janitorial and cooking experience. Took care of my mother who had A.L.S for 5 years, duties included: household cleaning, cooking, preformed all personal hygiene, use of ventilator and suction machine, assisted with feeding. Cared for grand mother, duties included: Cleaning, moving of furniture, some personal hygiene (cutting, cleaning and painting of nails, cut color and style hair) Worked with special needs adults at previous job, (FAS, Blind, autistic and down syndrome) duties included: Assisted with life skills, assistance to use washroom, day program assistance, outings , sports. Also was a special needs teachers assistant in rural community school, worked in special needs class room and well as one on one with children
