I have extensive experience caring for those with alzheimers and people with psychiatric disabilities. However I have been a cna for 12 years and have taken care of clients with all different kinds of ailments. I have worked with people who have stomas, feeding tubes, gtubes, colostomy bags, stroke victims, memory impaired individuals. I have experience with wound care, and can assist clients with all ADL’s. I can transfer up to 170lbs. I have very good references and will gladly give them to anyone interested in hiring me. I am really looking for an individual with Alzheimer's and can work with the most difficult of clients. I take pride in my skills handling those with Alzheimer’s and who are difficult to communicate with. My Grandmother suffers from Alzheimer’s and I know what its like to worry about who is caring for her and if they are giving her the love and respect she deserves. Unfortunately she needs 24 hour care and I cannot do that for her. :( I want to care for someone like I would my Grandmother. I am a very loving and caring individual with a lot to offer. There arent many things I cannot do as a CNA.
