Elder Care in Capitol Heights, Maryland

Over the last few year I have worked with patients with dementia and etc, in addition to hospice care as well. All of my patient were in home care. Because they didn't want to be in private facility. They wanted to keep their independence in the comfort of their homes. In allowing them to do so, I became their personal caretaker. I provided most of all honesty, respect and self- assurance. That I would care for them safely and guard them from all harm at their residence. By preventing falls, working with agitation when it arises. Working with the stress of simply being confined to that wheelchair or bed, they lay in day after day. I learned to follow diet plans and exercise encouragement strategies to make patient regain a better outlook toward their progress here on earth. It's never easy at times for some. But the rewards are speechless. And most of all the life's lessons and stories they share or always great to hear as they often take a journey back in time. I say all this to say if your love one or friend needs a companion or care- giver for 8hrs a day or 24 hour care or possibly live in I'm open to meeting you and discussing a schedule that fits his or her needs.
