My name is Cheryll Medina. I am a Personal Support Worker. I have acquired my certificate from George Brown College on September 2016. I have a 3 year old son, which is why I chose to be a stay-at-home mom for 3 years. Luckily, I was able to go to school part time and still be a PSW. I had a great and successful training at Harold and Grace Baker Centre, both in the nursing home and retirement home. Being a part of the facility for a short period of time have thought me so many wonderful things about the elderly. It opened up my mind and my heart in so many ways, that it became so hard for me when my last day came. But one thing for sure, is that spending time in the facility has taught me excellent knowledge of PSW practices and other skills to be an effective team member. My strong initiative and exceptional organizational skills, combined with my ability to work under pressure was very useful. I would like to be a part of a loving family in need of a care provider.
