Hello! I am Maria, 28 years old who lives in Winnipeg. I am an experience caregiver because of the fact that I worked as a Nurse in my country for 6 years and worked as health care aide for 2 years in a long term facility in Portage la Prairie. Nursing is my passion, so I moved here in the city to do my nursing equivalency exams and courses in the coming years then hoping to become a Registered Nurse. For the meantime, I am looking for a job where i can use my nursing knowledge and my experience,hoping to work with you! I worked as a Nurse in my country for almost 6 years,during those years I looked after for elderly patients with different kinds of illness such as pneumonia, asthma, dementia, heart and liver problems, diabetes, thyroid problems, kidney problems, leukemia,anemia, cancer, elderly undergoing chemotherapy and surgery. I also work as health care aide for 2 years in a Nursing Home in Portage la prairie. During those years, I worked with residents who needs support with their daily routines such as getting in and out bed, bathing, dressing and grooming.
