Nice to meet you! My name is Kim. I have a wonderful 94y/o grandmother I work with 2 days a week and would love to find part-time work with other seniors. I speak English, some french and am in 2nd year of Arabic language studies. I love pets and have a cat, a dog, fish and a bird. I also love to cook - I'm a bit of a foodie but nutrition is very important to me. In addition, since I hate waste I try to ensure that no food goes unused by freezing, preserving etc. I have had the privilege of working in the dynamic insurance industry for the past 26 years. I appreciate the experience I have gained in dealing with people from all walks of life, from CEO's to interns. As my situation in life has changed, so has my career focus. I am now looking for either part-time work or temporary full time work as I now have elderly parents and a grandparent that I have primary care of. This is the reason I am not looking for work in the insurance sector as part-time work is very difficult to find in that field. In addition, I'm looking to find a position I can give 110% to while I'm present but that doesn't require me to work from home to stay caught up. I am dependable and have a fairly open schedule. My unavailable times during the week are Tuesday evenings after 6PM, Saturdays until 1:30 PM, Sundays noon until 3pm. I live in Edmonton and have my own transportation.
