Further, I am willing to travel. With respect to my experience, I have extensive prior history in the role. I have been caring for seniors on and off for, the last 30 yrs. I have experience with post hospital care and medication set-ups. I am available for transportation to and from doctors, stores, and everyday errands. Meal prep, light housecleaning and daily companionship is also available. My background also includes working with teens coming out of crisis centers, volunteer firefighter, EMT, corrections officer, day care provider for children, and pet sitter. I first realized the need of home care for seniors at a young age. Visiting a nursing home and seeing so many unhappy people because they were no longer allowed to live at home. By providing in home care, more seniors can live and thrive in the homes they have built up and love. Seniors have so much to give back as well. The stories they have saved up over the years, the eras they have lived through, and if they don't remember them, you can make new adventures with them. I am CPR/First Aid certified, can help with medication management, meal prep, dressing, and would enjoy conversations and sharing in activities with your loved one.
