I have cared for my grandmother who suffered from alzheimers. Such a horrific disease, that i greatly despise but i was with her until the end and although challenging at times it was also very rewarding to be with her when she needed me the most. Also cared for a older woman suffering with colon cancer who had a colostomy bag. I changed her bag and helped her with all her needs. I loved both of these women and find such knowledge and appreciation in my elders. I love conversing with them and the trips down memory lane.
