I have worked as a Home Health Aide for over 13 years. Six words I would use to describe myself would be: responsible, honest, nurturing, friendly, hardworking, and resourceful. These are all characteristic that I believe have helped along my professional career. I have experienced patients with a range of disease’s, from dementia to cancer. When doing this job you have to have a sense of empathy, love, and patience. Throughout the years I have met wonderful people and they have taught me multiple lessons. The most important to me would be, that each patient comes with different problems and when providing professional care it has to be as unique as possible. I love my job and I appreciate every patient that passed through my hands. I hope to find a sense of belonging at your institution and I plan to help uphold the high standards you have set when it comes to providing professional care.
