I am able to work both independently and in a team work setting. I possess over seven years of experience supporting the elderly, special needs and individuals with developmental disabilities. I am also certified in medication administration, CPR and CPI. My roles and responsibilities includes but not limited to: activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, grooming and feeding). Assisting patient and clients with elimination and personal hygiene. Providing compassionate care for dying patients and their family. Coordinating and assisting clients in the community with housekeeping, personal care and other household chores. Assisting clients in transferring from bed to wheelchair. Focusing on providing quality care for both the elderly, children with special needs, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Practice good sanitation and sterile techniques to prevent infection and the spread of microbes. Assisting clients with preparing nutritious and delicious meals I also make a great, loving and caring companion.
