I am a licensed clinical social worker, retired for the most part, with specialized training in both the emotional & physical areas of family & elder care. I myself home cared my Mother when presented with onset of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, mobility challenges & various health issues aging can present us. My nature is compassionate, patient, detail & long-term focus oriented. I am capable, kind, joyful, simple, yet with accurate discernment & wisdom in assessments & proper care required across multiple terrains in our human lives & their good care. I additionally have both work & personal experience in the arts, design, textile & print production, theatre, plant care & design, horticulture, farming, owning & using horses in both physical remediation & psychotherapeutic healing, learning & education. I am certified as well in that work. I greatly enjoy cooking, baking, housekeeping, growing indoor & outdoor plants. I believe each of these are given joys & can build an environment of delight, peace, beauty, laughter & sanctuary. This all can stabilize, forward & enhance a person’s care, sense of hope & joy, and rebuild the gift of life in one’s own home. It is my value a person live in their own home. In this day we are amply fortunate we can keep our loved one(s) safe, secure, in our good care, medically provided for at home.
