Hello, My name is Nycole St. Lewis. I have recently graduated from Grand Health Academy with my Personal Support Worker certificate, First Aid & CPR level C and Palliative, Alzheimer's and Dementia Care Certificate. I am 18 years old, very passionate about working with elders, loving and caring. I put my work before myself, I am always properly dressed and professional. I did my Clinical hours at Ridgeview Long term care. At Ridgeview I had a lot of experience with Palliative, Alzheimer's and Dementia residents, as well as Resident's with Stroke and MRSA. I am very time efficient. I wanted to become a PSW because I love to help people especially those who really need the help. It makes me smile to know that I made a difference in somebody's life. I am great with diverse cultures and will always respect one's wishes. I will always promote Dignity, Independence, Privacy, Safety and Respect. I work well on my feet for long periods of time. I have experience with lifts such as, Hoyer Lift, Sara lift and regular transfers. I promote Activities of Daily Living and Range of Motion. I believe no matter what, that people should have Independence.
