Elder Care in Santa Rosa, California

Hello Families, I am a teacher by day and am looking for an afternoon gig several days a week providing companionship, light cleaning, cooking and errands if needed. I have a great sense of humor, I am a patient, friendly, creative problem solver and a very loyal and compassionate person. I am calm in emergencies, and have a great deal of integrity. I'm a good communicator and enjoy lively discussions and quiet times equally. I myself am a mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, auntie and best friend. I have some experience caring for the terminally ill as my husband passed from cancer a decade ago. I understand the patience and fortitude it takes to care for someone who is older and sometimes sickly. I am not medically trained, but I do have general knowledge of health care requirements and can be counted on to carry out simple procedures if necessary. I am mostly looking to be a companion for several hours a day about 3 days a week. Thank you for reading my post.
