Elder Care Job in Annandale, Virginia

I am inquiring about getting help for my mom. Mom is 84 years old and had a hip replacement two weeks ago. Mom was a difficult woman to begin with, but her disposition has not improved with the surgery. My dad thinks she might have the very beginnings of dementia and the anesthesia and other medications do not appear to be out of her system yet. Mom is supposed to be discharged on Tuesday, May 31. My dad is worried that she will not listen to him about keeping her bending to a 90 degree angle, bathing, and exercising. My dad will be 85 in November and he does not do a good job of standing up to my mom. My mom needs to move around and I just think it would be great for him to have help for several hours each day. I am also wondering if she is not able to remain at home, what are some good, but not horribly expensive assisted living places. She is in Leewood Rehabilitation Center in Annandale, VA right now and we are very unhappy with the facility and care. Thanks for your help, Patrice Heasly
