Hi there my name is Shirlene. I love working with seniors and look forward to caring for your loved ones. I recently retired from APG after 33 years of service from the Financial Management Office in Edgewood, Maryland. I took care of my Mother for two years as a caregiver and I took a position at Lorien as a Caregiver/Medicine Technician administered medicine and i resigned because i felt that they didn't have enough caregivers to truly give the residents the amount of personal daily care that they truly deserved. While employed with Lorien i took my time and gave each resident that i was in charge of great care by showing a lot of love and understanding and great care but i later found that i had so many to take care of it truly bothered me that it was not enough time due to the limited amount of caregivers that were hired to do the work. Today i am seeking someone that i can care for and provide the love and attention that the elderly truly needs and to provide the care they truly deserve.
