Elder Care Job in Fairport, New York

I'm writing this on behalf of my mother who's looking for a caretaker for my grandfather. I live out of state, or I could be of much more help :) My grandfather recently moved in with my mother, and she has a beautiful, quiet, comfy home in Fairport, NY. Three stories, which includes a finished basement that has an enclosed lanai leading out to the patio and pool area. Three bedrooms, 3.5 baths, so plenty of room for a live-in caregiver! My mother works as an Executive Assistant, 40 hours/week, in Rochester, and is looking for someone to take care of my grandfather while she's gone during the day. It'd also be beneficial to have someone help with the day-to-day cleaning (she does have a cleaning service come to the house every other week), laundry, and dinner prep. My grandfather takes a couple of naps during the day, so there is downtime. We'd like to get him on a schedule, but haven't gotten that down yet. Something along the lines of wake up by 9, bathe him, breakfast (OJ with his meds, Raisin Bran, then coffee while reading the paper :)), before he goes to lay back down. Wake up again at 11 or 12, prepare lunch, relax/chat, then he'd possibly go back up to lay down. My mom would come home after work at about 5, or after the gym at about 6, to have dinner with him, relax, then get ready for bed. There's an electric chair to get my grandfather up and down the stairs, which he's really good at using. An oxygen tank runs 24/7, and he's good about wearing it. He gets up to go to the bathroom a couple times a night, but sees it's not time to get up, and goes back to bed. I personally think he sleeps so much, because he's bored and doesn't do much. It'd be nice to see him want to get out of the house once in awhile, but if he's not interested, to each their own :) Grandpa has good and bad days. Some days he's more tired than others. Some days he can dress himself, some days he needs help. He needs help pushing in his chair after sitting at the kitchen table. He has accidents on occasion, and also randomly misses the toilet when going #1. Normal stuff that I assume comes with age... We're looking for a live-in caretaker, because it's hard for my mom to keep tabs on him during the night when she really needs to be getting a good night's sleep to be rested for work. I also think she should be relaxing when she gets home instead of running around and tending to his every need, which could include grabbing a specific blanket, putting a pillow behind his back, etc. The position will need to be filled by a female, and living-in isn't mandatory, but preferred.
