Elder Care in Rockport, Texas

I have been experiencing and practicing being a caregiver for almost two years now. I spent eight months with a lady who suffered with Alzheimer's disease. I was there with her an average of fifty hours per week. She declined rapidly, which, produced a great many challenges for both of us. Her daughter decided to take her to a memory care facility, that would be beneficial to her mother, since the Alzheimer's decline required a skilled and professionally trained staff. This was quite difficult for me, as I cared about her, however, I know that this was the right decision for her, as well as, her family. I have cared for a variety of people, with various needs. Some clients may not require as much as others, concerning personal care. As a caregiver, I provide compassion, loyalty, respect, integrity, reliability, and privacy. Some tasks that I provide include: bathing, shampoo hair, dressing, grooming, prepare meals, housecleaning, laundry. I also provide transportation, can use my own car or clients vehicle, whichever client prefers. I run errands with or without client, such as grocery shopping. I enjoy the companionship most of all, and always like hearing about the clients life experiences, they're always interesting. I also, if the client is able, enjoy recreational activities.
