Who I Am: Hi, my name is Gemma. I am seeking a position as an elder care provider in Guelph. I am an old soul (INFJ personality type) with a passion for history, photography, museums and archives, genealogy, nature, travel and watercolour painting. I enjoy learning from people and the world around me both in the past and present in order to help improve society and our world in however small a way that I can. As a psychology and sociology student, I have an interest in the field of gerontology and I am passionate about the growing need for compassionate care for older adults. I have a high degree of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills. I take pride in my ability to find conversation and connection with people whose paths I cross. Services And Training: I have a great deal of knowledge on gerontology and human development across the lifespan. I will take care of administering medication and respite work. I also have a full G license and vehicle. I have experience working with older adults and some experience in eldercare.
