I am a certified Nursing Assistant which is a Health Care Aide and Health Unit Coordinator. I have my Criminal record check with Vulnerable search, and Child and Adult Abuse Check. I also have my PHIA, Non Violent Crisis Intervention, and will be redoing my CPR because it has expired. I have worked with many lifts while working in a Long Term Care Home, and am comfortable with all aspects of care. I have 5 years experience working as a Health Care Aid on the Respiratory Chronic Care Unit and Resident Assistant level 1&2 for individuals with disabilities. I have completed my 12 week practicum in a long term care facility and at HSC. I also have a year’s experience working in a hospital setting on the Respiratory Chronic Care Unit as a HCA. I have the education, qualifications, skills and experience needed for the position, and will be a great team player and perfect fit within the facility. I possess strong communication skills, enjoy working autonomously and am passionate about healthcare. In my previous role I went out of my way to promote the physical and personal independence of my clients/residents/patients in their daily activities.
