Elder Care in Cantonment, Florida

I am a YOUNG, 57 year old woman, who is looking to help and assist elderly people. I am a Christian and have been married for 35 years, and have 2 beautiful daughters and 2 beautiful granddaughters (I refer to them as my sugar babies). As far as my work history, I worked mainly in medical offices doing office work and as a pharmacy technician. My parents passed away, some years ago, and I had the privilege of taking care of them prior. My mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and went through chemotherapy. My father had COPD and emphysema, and had to have breathing treatments as well as oxygen. I assisted them with some personal hygiene (ie., shaving, clipping toenails, washing hair and helping them in and out of shower), housecleaning, cooking, laundry, medical assistance, and taking them to doctor's appointments. I feel that conversation, respect, and a good sense of humor are very important, and can lift anyone's spirit and outlook. I am also an animal lover, and at the present time I am the guardian and caretaker of 4 cats and 4 dogs. I have always been the person who stops and helps stray dogs and cats. I feel that all life deserves respect, love and care....it would definitely be a better world if everyone could act that way. I am looking to work part time during the weekdays, Monday through Thursday. I am honest, hardworking, dependable, and compassionate, and I find that helping and assisting elderly people is very fulfilling.
