Elder Care in Chicago, Illinois

Hello there! My name is Ashley, and I am currently pursuing my Graduate Degree at Loyola University to become a Clinical Social Worker. I will be specializing my degree in Geriatrics. I have years of experience of being a caregiver for my elderly grandmother. During my time taking care of her I would prepare healthy homemade meals, medication monitoring, errands, and take her to her doctors appointments. I also would engage her in activities, such as art, journalling, and yoga. We would go for walks together, talk about current issues, as well as have her share her stories. The comfort and quality time I spent with her was truly wonderful for me, and I'd love to help others seeking companionship or assistance with daily living activities.
