Get the care you need and the compassion you deserve. I provide quality care for a variety of situations, including dementia, Alzheimer’s, blind, and surgery recovery. As a CNA, I have over 7 years of experience in assisting and taking care of others. I cared for my own mother who had dementia. I also have some occupational therapy assistant training. My services include, but are not limited to, the following: • Companionship – Providing conversation, physical and mental activities, while making the individual feel comfortable and cared for without being overbearing • Assisting with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming • Meal management - From grocery shopping to planning meals and preparing the food following proper nutrition and plan of care directives • Medication reminders - Ensure medications are taken at the correct time as directed by the doctor • Transferring the client -- From wheelchair, chair, toilet, bed, and vehicle • Transportation – To doctor and therapy appointments, shopping, eating out or even just for a ride • Errands – Such as prescription pickup, dry cleaning drop off and pick up, and shopping • Encouragement – Following therapy instructions, doctor’s orders and activities • Communication – With family, therapists, and other health care professionals • Monitoring client's health -- When following the care plan, notifying health care supervisor of any changes in physical or mental conditions References available
