Elder Care in Waterloo, Iowa

Caring for elderly has been a long term interest, which started when I was young and at home take care of my mother when she was sick. I started my own business cleaning houses for the elderly . 0ne client of mine had a in home care person come in who would do housekeeping for her, wash clothes , and did errands which was go to the groceries, pick up her medicine . When I worked for her she made me her care giver cause she benefit from my work. I begin my work as a dietary aid in Fort Dodge Iowa where I served in the nursing home . This lead me to the compassion for the residents , so I was given the opportunity to work as a nurses aid. When I moved to Minnesota I received my CNA certificate and worked for a year before returning to back to Waterloo. I have received a associates degree in Applied science in Human services. My goal is to use my education to further knowledge in the care and the need of those who need someone who can be compassionate and have empathy for those who are going through the life challenges as life goes on with many needs to be cared for. When a person reaches this time in their lives they need people who will help them be comfortable and treated with dignity.
